More than 40 people--Senior Friends, Junior Friends and Staff--came together to play dodgeball, create tie-dye shirts, and eat holiday-themed food. Each Friendship brought a can of food to be donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank.
The festivities were held at Nothing But Hoops in Burlingame. The kind staff there facilitated games of dodgeball and soccer for all. Junior Friends faced off against Senior Friends. More often than not, the Junior Friends won.
Additionally, Senior Friend Connie and her Junior Friend Lizbet were kind enough to lead some mentees in a special tie-dye crafting session. There were many beautiful results!
After food and conversation the fun was topped off with a white-elephant gift exchange. Everybody got a present!
