Mentoring Services is pleased to announce that this month 18 Friendships attended Friends for Youth Group Activities! First, at the “We’re All Made Out of Stars” planetarium show, mentors and mentees gathered to mix and mingle and then took in the show led by a College of San Mateo astronomy professor. Junior and Senior Friends got a preview of what the night sky will look like in the coming weeks. Second, at Malibu Castle, several Friendships turned into early-bird mini-golfers and putt-putted their way through the course. Also, each Friendship received a handful of free arcade tokens! Group Activities help promote relationship building, allow Friendships to meet other participants in the program, are always fun, and are usually free! Thanks to all our junior-astronomers and mini-golfers, and we hope to see your Friendship at an activity soon!
